It is much better to have to sort through a lot of emails, etc. than to not have the web site up to date and interesting due to a lack of input.

Under the "contact us" tab in the top horizontal navigation bar, there is a form that can be used to send general information to us, however if you are attaching pics, videos, pdfs, etc please email us by clicking on the town web site email address. You may also use this as an alternative to the form method if you wish.

    The Riverdale Community Complex Fundraising Committee is in the running to see if they can recieve money from Molson Coors.

    Molson Coors believes communities like ours grow stronger when they come together for a common goal. That’s why they've created Molson Coors Community Cheer. If our project will bring our community together in an active and positive way, they can help us make it happen. In 2012, they'll be donating up to $1 million supporting more than 20 worthy community projects across Canada.

    Visit http://www.ourcommunitycheer.com/projectDetails.aspx?id=100 and begin the registration process. Some individuals have difficulty getting registered, depending on their web page settings. If they can’t get registered they can e-mail me at brayd@mts.net and I will register their “Cheer” for them once they provide me with a bit of information.

    For Manitoba readers who have MTS as their provider, you can cheat the system a little and cheer twice! Register once as @mts.net and register the second time as @mymts.net. The system won't realize you are the same person as it validates both as real e-mail addresses so some of you might have twice the amount of work to do, please and thanks....ever so much! And for people who have gmail, hotmail, etc. any and ALL VALID E-MAIL ADDRESSES ARE ACCEPTED so please take the time to cheer from each account.

    The calendar is here! They will be available for purchase at the Library, Queen’s, Co-op, Insurance Office and Town  Office, Mill Pond Tea House, RC Hairstyling & R.M. Office.  Again this year the calendar is $20.  This is the only fund raiser for Chamber has for the year so we really appreciate your support.

    3-4pm Movie Shrek the Halls @ the Legion Hall with popcorn and drinks provided. 4-6pm Potluck Bon-fire wiener roast and Hay Rides on main Street. (Bring your own wieners and buns and sticks. Condiments and drinks are provided) 6-7pm A visit from "AMBER" our Christmas Elf and singing of Christmas Carols 7 pm The movie Fred Clause will be shown for those who are wishing to stay later A hamper will be placed at the Legion Hall for those wishing to donate a nonperishable food item. The Museum will have a memory tree with ornaments for purchase in memory of loved ones. Help support our museum. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME OUT AND ENJOY A GREAT FAMILY DAY

  • Terry Fox Run Results
    Another successful Terry Fox Run.  Not so many out this year but we raised over $1800, pretty amazing for our little town.  Art and Sue Brown returned to walk with the family , they are our greatest supporters, Thanks Browns, Houle's and Danielle.  This years T shirt winner was Jacquie Esplin.  Our oldest runner was Bette Hyndman (can't tell her age but she is one year older than last Year)  the youngest was 3 year old Trace Houle.  Cookies and ice tea were enjoyed by runners and donors alike.  Thanks community for another successful year!
